School Rules

Clear expectations help every student learn confidently, act responsibly, and contribute to a safe and respectful school community.

Shared Standards for Everyday School Life

These rules apply during the school day, on school transport, at activities and excursions, and whenever a student represents Erudite Academy.

Daily Readiness and Punctuality

  • Students should arrive before the reporting time, properly dressed in the prescribed uniform and ready for the day.
  • The student diary, identity card, required books, completed assignments, and suitable stationery should be brought each day.
  • Late arrival or early departure requires permission from the school office and an authorised parent or guardian.

Learning and Classroom Expectations

  • Students are expected to listen attentively, participate sincerely, complete work on time, and allow others to learn without disruption.
  • Academic honesty is essential. Copying, plagiarism, cheating, or helping another student to act dishonestly is not acceptable.
  • School property, books, laboratory materials, sports equipment, and digital resources must be used carefully and only for their intended purpose.

Safety, Health and Prohibited Items

  • Running in corridors, unsafe play, fighting, bullying, intimidation, and possession of any harmful or prohibited item are strictly forbidden.
  • Medicines may be brought only with written parent instructions and must be deposited with the designated school authority where required.
  • Mobile phones, smart devices, cameras, or personal electronic equipment may be used only when specifically authorised for educational purposes.

Respect and Responsibility

  • Every member of the community must be treated with courtesy, regardless of background, ability, belief, language, or identity.
  • Students should keep classrooms and common areas clean, conserve water and electricity, and report damage or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • School notices, transport instructions, library rules, laboratory procedures, and event-specific directions must be followed.
